What to expect
Come join us and discover Mono Screen Printing! There are just 4 spots in each workshop as we will be printing in our studio and want to allow enough space for everyone to print.
Explore a more spontaneous screen printing method. Painting and drawing directly onto the screen and then uncovering your design with one pull of the squeegee to create your own unique print!
Mono printing is a technique where you can paint or draw and then transfer this onto flat surface to create a unique print. The left over residue can then be used to create ghost prints of the original.
There will be a short introduction and demo to mono printing, we want you to get stuck in straight away. This workshop is your chance to explore this printing process by printing onto paper. You have full rein over what you print. This workshop is all about giving it a go, suitable for both beginners and seasoned artists.
During this workshop we will be exploring hand painting onto a silk screen which you will then use a clear medium to pull your design through onto the paper below. Designed and painted by you to create your very own unique mono prints. There is no experience required, we will guide you through the whole session, It’s all about getting stuck in and seeing what happens.
It is £50 per person for the evening! You print it you keep it.
Please note that the class is held on the upper floor of Hopefully Made, accessible via a narrow and steep staircase, which may not be suitable for individuals with mobility concerns
