Service Description

Cost - £30 inc hot drink and materials. Sunday, September 8th 4:30 – 6:00pm Join us for this creative therapy workshop, delivered by an experienced therapist in a relaxed, safe and supportive space. Take time to learn more about your "whole" Self, your needs, emotions and worth. How does it work? The workshop will be 90 mins starting with a little decompression mindfulness where you will get out of your head (and let go of all that internal chatter) We will work with self compassion and awareness tools integrating art and creativity - no art experience needed, we all have a crayon wielding child inside us. Art materials and a hot drink are included - just bring your "self" (oh and maybe a journal as it helps to write down s**t after therapy) Group workshops are incredibly powerful and provide a supportive and empowering space where you find connection and feel less alone. Lead by Annie Hambley Hi, i'm Annie - I am an integrative therapist and I am passionate about self awareness and how we engage with our sense of self, our needs, emotions and stories. I am grounded in compassion and creativity and integrate person centred, psychodynamic and somatic modalities in my practice, helping clients to explore how our experiences show up in relationships with yourself and others, manifest in your body, nervous system and emotions and how they shape your self beliefs. I have over 20 years experience in counselling, psychology, mental health and therapeutic group work within the NHS, local council, schools, young offenders institutes and charities and have recently completed my post grad in the psychology of mental health and wellbeing. I am also trained in mindfulness stress reduction and yoga teacher training which I integrate in my practice. My aim is to make mental health maintenance and therapy accessible to all and through whichever approach feels most comfortable for the individual.
